What animals can I hunt at POE Wildlife Ranch?
We offer hunts for Whitetail Deer, Axis Deer, Blackbuck Antelope, Red Stag, Fallow Deer, Aoudad (Barbary Sheep), Sika Deer, and Nilgai. Species availability may vary by season — contact us to discuss current availability.
Are hunts guided?
Yes. All hunts at POE Wildlife Ranch are fully guided by our experienced team. Your guide will work with you before and during your hunt to ensure the best possible experience.
Do I need a hunting license?
Texas state hunting regulations apply. Our team can advise you on license requirements when you call to plan your hunt.
What does a typical hunt day look like?
Most hunts begin at first light and include a morning session, midday break back at the lodge, and an evening hunt before dark. Your guide will tailor the schedule to the animal you're pursuing and the conditions on the day.
Do you offer trophy processing?
Yes — field care, processing, and arrangements for taxidermy can be coordinated. Ask about options when you call to book.
About the Lodge
How many people does the lodge sleep?
The lodge has three bedrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. The lodge is rented exclusively as a single unit — your group will have the entire property to yourselves.
Can non-hunters stay at the lodge?
Absolutely. The lodge is available as a standalone rental independent of hunting activity. Contact us for availability and rates.
